fourth card!! (p/s: valentine too soon?)

this is my fourth card in this three week long semester break :)

i was actually a bit stuck in matching color 

to avoid making myself losing the mojo

i decided to give myself an easy way

just make it monotone. ha ha!

coincidentally, i have quite a few "pinky" material around me

well, that was it! PINK is the color then!

eventually. it ended up looking like a valentine's day card , which is ..

duhh, a few months away. LOL

love the outcome when i decided to put the vellum sticker on top of the chipboard. just fit!

love is all around-at least for those who are already in love. 

shall update my final card soon before i am going back to Malacca and i would be taking a rest for another 5months i guess :)

The third card! :)

This is my third card! 

never thought that i could create as many as three card in this holiday. 

yay! as i have mentioned before, i am using exactly same tools and materials which i have, did not buy anything new at all! *proud

i have to give credit to the giveaway i won from Kak June previously, it was such a great help and very useful indeed. 

hope you all like this card and hopefully i shall make another attempt for a new card -if possible

facing the same stuff again can be quite boring.

but i was hesitating whether i should be buying new tools because i would be back to my studies life in less than a week..again..

Nah, I am not.

Grew up a bit recently after furthering studies to another state ( I never really leave Klang in my entire life ! ) ..

I started the habit of reading newspaper.. Haha

House price increasing, GST is gonna implemented soon, parents said earning is not enough..

I was pondering whether I should carry on..

The part that I find it hard to let go is not the craft itself but the friendship I have made

I am trying to holding on.

Gonna update soon, hopefully, with some of my creation. Heheh.

after furthering studies in matriculation college in malacca..it has been a long time since i actually craft..

so sad, maybe no one bother to visit already :(

anyhow, i started to get my hand on quilling. since i think it is easy and portable.. so decided to try it.

and i did using satay stick.. kekekeke

Mother's Day&Mail Art Swap

sorry for not updating for a long time even though i have done quite a few cards but never can find the time to upload them.

school officially starting tomorrow.. and i will be on a hiatus period..

need to restrain myself from sticking to the net too much

or else

i will risk myself getting not 4 flats in stpm but bringing 4 eggs home for my mum to cook ><

anyway..just wanna update on the Mother's Day card and mail art

this was what i came up with.

i am doing back the art technique that have been doing since i was primary school

u know.. the "tikar" thing there... haha

this is the mail art.. was so worried the postman might throw it away.. since it was...so..

complicated looking?

but thankfully..it reached safely.. thanks to the postman!! :D

i downloaded the software.. but still have no idea how to blur the address..LOL

Greetings.

i will be working a part time job starting tomorrow.

won't have much time to craft anymore since right after the job, i will start my school life again.

and i still have one more card to go- for mother's day swap card event in the scrapbooking&cardmaking group. 

Today, i would like to share this particular card, the one i made yesterday together with the card i entered for challenge.

I was trying to make another masculine card-exactly the same but looked like the attempt failed?

guess i can never make the same two cards ><"

i was choosing the desire cardstock and i am out of the cardstock which is kind of cream in color and has postage design...

and i happened to win a giveaway.. so i was digging in the big packet for some cardstock. :)

and yay! i got almost the same cardstock.. also in cream color and has postage design.

while arranging, i took a look at my embellishments collection.. and slowly.. i am adding stuff... more and more....

The color of the flower is quite bright and plain.. so i used my finger to rub some ink onto it, to match the whole concept..

see the little cloth peg there? it was the final embellishment i added in.

so cute.. i plan to buy some to keep :)

gotta hunt for it soon.

so it ended up this way.. and i feel it is suitable to give to your family or any special person if u are far away from them to send some greetings back :)

and i feel it sort of give some vintage feel? i don't really know how a card suppose to look vintage as i have't study it yet.. maybe all these brown colors..kind of blend in well with the black and grey and the embellishments that make me feel that way :)

I won a giveaway! yay!

Kak June from Midori Craft is very generous, she was having 4 giveaways to celebrate her 4th anniversary with her husband :)

It happened that i was on FB the moment she announced the giveaways~

so what did i do? of course is comment right away! and i was the first one to do so. Hehe

I told myself don't put too much hope to avoid disappointment..

so i was surprised when i was selected! 

Kak June was not feeling well so the posting of the package got postponed.

but she is such a kind person, despite her condition, she tried her best to pack all these stuff and send to all the winners.

The mail arrived to me on monday..

and in it got two big packets~~ weeee!

In it, got lots of papers!! and embellishments :)

eventhough it was mostly from her scrap paper and some extras she made..all are still very useful to me.. :)

First Challenge : Papercraft MY challenge

Hi everyone. hope u have a great day :)

today is a very very hot day here in my area, my room is nothing but a hot oven..

i almost roasted inside it . *sigh*

however,amazingly, i managed to spend almost half a day in that room to do two cards.

today,i would share the more important one because i am entering this card for challenge for the first time :)

and i have no ideas at all about spring since in Malaysia, there are nothing but sun and rains ><

got two photos..due to difference in lighting when i took the pictures..and somehow it ended up got two different "feelings" doncha think so? :)

urghhh...i think my writing sort of ruined the whole card ><"

resulted in a darker version

i try incorporate all the keywords given in the website:

Craft meet up #1

i had my very first craft meet up with few friends of mine.

one of them is a very talented crafter called Heng Wei :)

all these babies belong to Miss Heng Wei, she bought  the whole set of distress inks~~
a few,around 6 were not in the box,taken out to use :)

good way. must learn :)

messy table is the thing i love most when crafting...
because it is  one of the part i enjoyed during crafting :)

few boxes she brought from her house..full of stamps and inks and tools.
oh,the pretty behind those boxes? that is Heng Wei ^^

the cards she taught my bestie to create. awesome as well :)

i didn't do anything because i was too busy touching her stuff and ask this and  that (as usual what i will do :P )

Swap Event#1 at Malaysia Cardmaker

just wanna share my cards for Malaysia Cardmaker page today.

after so many troubles and works, finally the first event had officially launched off. haha

and this the outcome i did, not so satisfying T.T

for Brenda. i was having this banner idea thing in my head &decided to try it out. but looks like this  is too "over-bannered" ><

i still got two more missions to go

1. mother's day card, another swap event in the group

2. MY papercraft challenge-spring 

and i got a part time job already.. have to sacrifice my time for sleep,internet,lazying around,face booking,chit chatting to work **boohooohooo 

because i wanted to use the salary to buy myself a heat gun! :D

First masculine card :)

since after SPM examination, my life was totally upside down. even though i was glad all those stressful moment had gone but my daily schedule was also gone. LOL

which means morning is like night to me and vice versa, i can't really differentiate now.

and most of the night, i find it hard to fell asleep.

yesterday night was the same, so i stayed up to do something.

and i came up with this card. :)

an inspiration from kwerner design, twist it a little bit with my own taste. 

first masculine card.

Sorrows turned to joy!

i was really sad from yesterday till today actually...

my RM200 flew away... T.T

I got 9A's for my spm result.. supposed to get Rm200 reward from Maybank..

but received a call yesterday informing me that the application was rejected because i did not open the account 6 months before the examination. I was told that i can still obtain the reward when i went to ask & open an account in Maybank roughly around in December.. that was what the lady said so... =="

I wonder what are they doing in their office all these while..never bother to update themselves with the right information ....

Soooooooooooooooooo

was very very sad...because i intended to use it to invest in a heat gun and some embossing powder...

it is my top wish list..see that on the right hand side?

now..all GONE!

BUT BUT BUT!

I am very happy today..

because....

Ying's gift all the way from Johor has arrived TODAY!

never expected such big package & so many yummy goodies!


inside the big package are a box of brads, a packet of paper flowers,a washi  tape and  a set  of  wooden stamps.

Ying is so kind to exchange two flowers in the packet with two of another flower design so that i can have two kinds of different flowers in it!

yay! wooden stamps! so cute!

and this stamps! so awesome.. it is a washi tape wooden stamp..so adorable!
